If you were a child in the 80’s then you will probably remember BigTrak. We often reminisce about toys we had when we were younger and even more so when we have children of our own. So if you are thinking if only I could get my hands on one of these toys then think no more. BigTrak is back. This toy oozes retro and cool.
This programmable toy is both educational and great fun. It teaches you to think about taking steps to resolve an overall problem. I want BigTrak to get to this destination and these are the steps I need it to take to get there. The six wheeled tanks with a front mounted blue photon beam headlamp can be programmed in up to 16 steps to reach a destination and fire the laser. You can execute commands such as ‘go forward 5 lengths’, ‘pause’, ‘turn 30 degrees right’, ‘fire phaser’ and so on and you can even repeat these 16 commands in simple loops. All this is done through a 23 button keypad on top of BigTrak. Kids and adults will have hours of fun with this toy. You can create obstacle courses and take it in turns to guide BigTrak around it and to it’s final destination before blasting the blue laser.
